Expedition Grant Proposal

May 15th, 2009 · 2 Comments · Communication, climbing tips

For those of you interested in writing a grant proposal, Andrew McLean, Backcountry skiing guru and author of the Backcountry Ski Blog StraightChuter.com wrote a good piece on the basics of an expedition proposal. The expedition proposal helps clarify the purpose of the proposed trip for the participants as well as may land you some needed gear and/or money to help with the trip.

Check it out!

    Greetings!!!

I am planning to trek the mount Kangchenjunga region especially
the Goecha La trail. Currently, I am looking for some sponsors for this expedition but not sure how start the proposal.
I would appreciate if you could forward any sample formats of proposals which enable me to some guides on this matter. Many Thanks!!

Check out this great info from Andrew McLean here

Keep in mind…sponsorship is a business deal with you offering something of value in exchange for their products/money.

May your search for sponsorship be fruitful!

    Cheers,

    Stephen
